Samsung Galaxy S7 – What to Expect?

With the Galaxy S6 enjoying much success as the S4, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be introduced into the Indian markets sometime in April 2016. It is expected to be priced reasonably around Rs 39,000 to Rs 41,500. For brevity, we will pitch it up against the most successful flagship phone of the Galaxy series – S6.

Not much of difference in the displays of the S6 and the S7 except the glass protection is provided by a higher upgraded version 5. The S6 used Corning Gorilla Glass 4. However, the S6 boasts a higher pixel density than the proposed S7 display along with the conceptual S6 Edge curved screen smartphone.

Here’s the brand new thing. The S7 will be equipped with the all new Android 6.0 Marshmallow in its Arsenal. The S6 runs on the existing 5.0 Lollipop version. Here’s where the new S7 beats the S6 fair and square with a heavy Octa core CPU working under the hood and a faster GPU than the existing flagship phones.

RUMOURS

1. Virtual Reality (VR) gear headset.

2. Curved screen like the S6 Edge.

3. More robust design.

4. Brand new chipset and processor.

5. Reasonable pricing as opposed to the S6.

Verdict

All in all, the S7 will be  a grander version of the S6 with much reasonable pricing and heavy-duty work. This will be a treat for all the Samsung Fans. We’re just hoping that the S7 gets launched with its Edge screen by default.
